A' Lyceum Curriculum
Entry Class
Curriculum for A' Lyceum
The first grade of the General High School is a class of general education only. The student is taught many of the basic subjects that are the starting point for his/her development in high school and a prerequisite for success in the Α.Ε.Ι.
Στα βασικά μαθήματα της Α' Λυκείου θεμελιώνεται η ύλη των μαθημάτων της Β' και Γ' Λυκείου αλλά και η ύλη των μαθημάτων των εισαγωγικών εξετάσεων.
According to the current school curriculum for the first grade, emphasis is placed on three main axes of courses where the basic subjects are integrated:
Greek Language
Mathematics
Physical Sciences
Infrastructure Class
In A' Lyceum the student comes into contact with many new subjects, which are the starting point for his later development in Lyceum, but also a prerequisite for his success in the Α.Ε.Ι.
The grade of the A' Lyceum does not count towards the grade of the Baccalaureate or admission to university.
Becomes familiar with the subjects
Intensifies the new way of examination and evaluation
Sets the basis for the subsequent subjects to be examined
THE NECESSITY OF ATTENDING A TUTORIAL FROM THE FIRST GRADE
Η παρακολούθηση φροντιστηρίου από την Α' Λυκείου κρίνεται αναγκαία γιατί:
- The first grade as a starting class brings the student in contact with many basic subjects, important for the orientation that will follow in the second and third grade, for which the need to create an infrastructure is a given.
- The syllabus of the basic courses of the A' Lyceum is objectively included in the syllabus of the Panhellenic examinations.
- The student of the first grade in a new beginning learns, familiarizes and establishes "knowledge" and "infrastructure", bases and perspective for the final goal and purpose, which is admission to the University.
